| These strikingly good looking harps are made
in the USA, and have a really lively and bright response. The strings are spaced the
same as a full sized concert harp. |
| Solid Walnut or Cherry wood is used for the
structural frame and pinblock, with plywood side and back panels. This makes a
durable and strong, yet very lightweight harp body. The Finnish aircraft grade 3mm
birch laminate soundboards are the heart of the good sound, providing exceptional strength
with low weight. This allows cutouts to be made at the bottom and top of the string
band, making the soundboard free to vibrate over its entire surface. Zither tuning
pins are standard on the lap harps, but tapered pins are fitted on the floor harps. |
